Tuku appears on Project Fame
Oliver Mtukudzi was on July 4, 2004 invited as a guest board member in the ongoing television reality show Project Fame which began in South Africa on June 6.Tuku was one of the weekly guest board members that are invited into the Project Fame Academy every week to meet the contestants, hear them sing and pass comments on their performance.

Simone De Souza, PR and Publicity Manager for Multichoice - Zimbabwe told Tukumusic, that Project Fame is a combination of Big Brother and Idols. “Project Fame is unique in that one has to have the personality of Big Brother and the singing ability of Idols” said Simone.

25 year old Kudzai Sevenzo is Zimbabwe’s representative in the Project Fame Academy, which has representatives from across the African continent. Kudzai has been flying the Zimbabwean Flag high and stands a chance to win a recording contract and a celebrity lifestyle of a musical artist in Johannesburg for one year.
